Tessa came into our family shortly after our first Boxer, a rescue, died at the age of ten. Our other Boxer, Rosie, was becoming very depressed without her buddy Jack, so I began our search for a puppy. Tessa was a very naughty puppy but learned quickly. When she was 18 months old, she earned her CD in her first three obedience trials. Tessa was well known for her flying finish. Later she was bred to Ch Woods End Crown Sable. This litter produced four puppies, two of which became Champions. Two years later, she was bred again. This litter unfortunately did not produce any Champions, but there were four very wonderful pets. At the age of 7, Tessa became a Certified Therapy Dog. Along with her son, Brodie, she visited patients at the local hospital weekly. She was truly the matriarch of the house and demanded the respect of all of our other Boxers.
On June 20,2001, at the grand old age of eleven and a half, Tessa left this world.
She was truly the beginning of Sarmeda Boxers.
She was an incredible mother, obedience dog, therapy dog and beloved member
of our family.
She is greatly missed by all who loved her.
